Consumable and Coffee Costs by Jim Storey

We often get asked how much it costs to make a coffee. There's no short answer but we can give you an indication using our machines:

Black Coffee

Black coffee is also the base for cappuccinos and lattes. This is usually a fixed dose of 7 grams of beans or 2.5 grams of instant and is fairly easy to cost:

Using our Diva Office Blend Coffee Beans: 16 cents
Using our Diva Office Blend: 13 Cents
Using coffee pods: 60 cents
Blend 43 Instant Coffee: 20 Cents

Milk

Our coffee machines can do fresh or powdered milk. Before you block the option of powdered milk consider this:

  • it's cheaper than fresh milk at half the price
  • it's hard to taste the difference
  • it's a lot less cleaning and maintenance

The following prices are for 250ml

Premium powdered milk: 15 cents
Standard powdered milk: 10 cents
Fresh milk: 35 cents
