The Saeco Talea Touch is made with superior materials, and has an easy-to-use touch screen that simplifies your programming choices so there’s never any question about your café style drink. The programmable monochrome touch screen does away with confusing buttons and lights, instead displaying options in easy to understand pictures and text on a large, clear touch screen. Selecting your options has never been so easy. Below the touch screen, the Saeco Brewing System knob allows you to change the strength of your brew. The Rapid Steam system allows you to go from brewing to frothing without wait time, and the optional Saeco Milk Island connects to your Touch for automatic frothed and steamed milk. You can also use the steam wand to create your own milk-based drinks. The silver and graphite colored machine is elegantly housed and easy to clean.
The Talea Touch doesn’t cut any corners when it comes to a great shot of espresso. After you fill the bean hopper with coffee beans, the built in grinder grinds the beans consistently and finely using ceramic burrs. The grounds are then “pre-infused” with water to moisten them and bring out the depth of their flavors and oils. A stainless steel boiler heats the water, while 15 bars of pump pressure provide more than enough power to pull a great shot of espresso. Don’t worry about the espresso cooling once it has been dispensed – the cup tray can be raised and lowered so the cup is closer to the dispenser, a cup warmer on top of the machine helps keep the espresso’s temperature stable. Once the shot is brewed, the Touch Plus automatically disposes of the used coffee grounds into an internal dump box, which holds enough for you to brew 14 shots.
